Licensed Technicians
Licensed veterinary technician with more than 30 years experience working with animals, Paula Moore has been a member of the Rhinebeck Animal Hospital team since 1993. Working at the hospital allows for maximum utilization of Paula's technical skills and she enjoys working in a fast-paced, cutting-edge facility. Outside the hospital, she can be found clay target shooting, running, biking and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with her two cats, Winchester and Wyatt.
Veterinary Technician Lisa McDermott has been with Rhinebeck Animal Hospital since December of 2010.
"I love working at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital because I think it’s a great hospital," she says. "We have a very knowledgeable team that really cares about every patient."
Her pets include two Sharbo mixes named Hannah and Zoey. Lisa's interests include playing with her dogs, working on her house and baking for her boyfriend.
Heather Martin is a Veterinary Technician that joined the Rhinebeck Animal Hospital staff in August of 1997 then left to become an elementary school special education teacher and returned in August of 2010. In addition to her education credentials, she has a Veterinary Technician’s degree and is certified to practice in New York.
Heather says, 'I really enjoy working with the staff and the quality of the care of the hospital is amazing.'
Her pets include a Golden Retriever named Hoble, Jack Russell Terrier named Bentley, two quarter horses named Judy and BH, two cats named Ice Cream and Houdini, and a Beta Fish named Who. Her interests include baking, hiking, reading, photography, fixing up the new house she shares with her fiancé, and kayaking.
