Hospital Management
Thomas Mullen is the hospital manager at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital. He began his career at the hospital in 1993 as a veterinary assistant, a position he held until 1997. Thomas returned to the hospital in 2000, with a BS in Business Administration, as the hospital manager. He finds working at a progressive practice with a dedication to superior patient care and customer service to be very rewarding. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys hiking, biking, taking photos and working on computers.
Business office manager Nanette Leonard has been part of the Rhinebeck Animal Hospital team since 1988. Nanette has worked in the animal care field for more than 30 years and she is proud to work with the caring staff and veterinarians that are so dedicated to helping pets. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry and Equine Science in 1979 and has many years experience showing and working with horses and equine management. Nanette is married with two children, and when she's not at work, she enjoys spending time in the garden with her husband, camping, and volunteering with local community groups. Her animal companions include Casey, a Golden Retriever, and a fat-tail gecko.
Bookkeeper Cindy Hughes is proud of the high quality medicine practiced at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital and loves working with the veterinarians and staff. She shares her home with two Lab/Pit Bull mixes, Tic Tac and Tipper, and a cat named Tar. Cindy enjoys traveling, baking, gardening, sewing and going to NASCAR races in her spare time. Cindy has been part of the Rhinebeck Animal Hospital staff since 1995.
Susan Stewart is the patient care supervisor at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital. A member of the staff since 2004, she believes the hospital offers the best veterinary medicine in the area and loves working with the caring, knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. In her spare time, Susan can be found weaving, reading, volunteering at a nursing home and riding her horse. She also shares her home with a Border Collie named Kate and a Conure named Zoie.
Administrative assistant at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital since 1981, Mary Dee Eighmy is proud of the high-quality care and excellent service offered at the hospital. Her pastimes include golfing and exercising.
Client care team leader Sandra Goodnow has helped our dedicated clients and their wonderful pets at the hospital since 1997. She enjoys working with the professional, knowledgeable veterinarians and staff and is proud of the high-quality medicine offered at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital. Away from work, she enjoys camping, hiking and riding her horse, Sarge. Her animal companions also include a miniature Dachshund named Lexi.
Licensed veterinary technician Eileen Zuleta has been part of the Rhinebeck Animal Hospital team since 1997. She's worked with animals for more than 18 years and enjoys being part of a team that provides high-quality care and lots of compassion for every pet that comes into the hospital. Eileen is an adjunct professor at Ulster Community College in her spare time, and she also enjoys taking photos of animals and nature. Her home is filled with pets, including two Red Eared Sliders, a number of fish, and two dogs, Banshee and Monte. Bird watching and going on hikes with her dogs are among her many hobbies.
